As title. The firing sound is incredibly off. It almost sounds like a silenced pistol. Or like they tried to make it very loud, but then realized it would peak and capped the whole sound, which ruins the whole sound of it. In any case it sounds horrible for what is supposed to be sort of like a .50 cal sniper rifle in scale.
yeah having a loud sound is important for slow rate of fire. in BF1 the Chauchat’s extremely loud even though its firing a full rifle round like every other machine gun. because its slow.

The complicated accelerator mechanism that surrounds the barrel of this weapon helps propel the massive ammunition to incredible speeds. This, predictably, results in a bigger bang and more destruction. Understandably, this pleases the Ogryns.
