I usually don’t really go in for the events that much. I suppose because a particular frame doesn’t appeal to me aesthetically, and I’d rather otherwise play havoc or in my pre-havoc days, just enjoy the regular game. But.. This is my favorite event so far. The shrines look cool, the theme is cool, we get to fight bosses, there’s aquilas in the pot for victory, and it came at the perfect time with a new class to level up and learn in auric a bit before moving to havoc. Thumbs up from this bedraggled reject. Conversely, this is my first time encountering the blight spreads in havoc and I (at the risk of sounding hyperbolic), kind of hate it. In part because I haven’t really figured out how it works and it chips away at my hp a lot. Update: I figured it out. Blight spreads aint no thang. Just gotta boogie a little harder as you dance around. Edit #2: Back to hating it, not particularly hard, just slows things down a lot if you’re melee.

Same here. The Blessed Shrines remind me of the Chests of Trials from Vermintide 2’s Chaos Wastes in function? They’re very fun and I love it. [image]

To me, it was a simple (very simple) but enjoyable event. I really liked it. Thanks Fatshark.

I’ve been loving the Atonement event, and I’d love to see it (alongside Rot Armour) become mainstays in Auric. Having a step up from normal HI(STG) Auric that isn’t Havoc is awesome, and High Intensity Atonement and the Rot Armour event have each been the most fun periods in Darktide for me in recent memory. They have some of the intensity of high Havocs but without the restricted build variety that consequently befalls Havoc, and you also don’t have to spend time dealing with party finder or whatever Havoc modifiers you might not enjoy.

I do luvs me some Aquila rewards!

Yep, wish it could stay. Live service gaming

I wouldn’t oppose Rotten Armour coming back to Auric AFTER these balancing adjustments are made. Fatshark buffed Carapace and Flak without buffing the Weapons that were already balanced or underperforming against Carapace or Flak prior to said buffs. I explicitly warned Fatshark against doing that. So don’t blame me, blame Fatshark for not listening to me! :person_shrugging:
