Hi Hellacopter, did these issues start after updating to the newest drivers, or were they present beforehand?

Hi Julia,

They were present before also. Just tried to update drivers as a possible solutions.

Could you try disabling the NVIDIA Overlay + Game Filter, and see whether there’s any improvement?

I tried it. Sure seems to work actually. Played two whole games with mods without crashing. Then closed the game, enabled NVIDIA overlay and tried to start the game and the same error occured. Disabled overlay once again and got to game without a crash. Any ideas why the overlay is causing issues? Problem in Fatshark end? Haven’t tried with overlay without game filters though. That is for tomorrow.

It was a hunch based on another player’s experience I recently read about, so it’s very interesting to hear this has also helped you! I’ll be raising this with NVIDIA right away.

That is good to hear. What is the typical response time regarding these types of issues?

Hi,

Nvidia overlay is still not working. Has there been any communication from nvidia regarding this matter? Or is there anything to be done in your end?

We’re working with NVIDIA, but we’re having some trouble reproducing the crash, so we’d really appreciate your help in looking in to this. Would you be able to experiment with your video options, to see if it’s one particular option interfering with the overlay?

Sure thing. What do you need?

Could you play around with the Ray Tracing options, and see if making those changes allows you to re-enable the overlay without crashing?

I have both ray tracing options turned off

Hmmm - what if you change your Screen Mode?

Didn’t work. Any updates from nvidia?

Sorry Hellacopter, I don’t have anything new to share right now. In the meantime, it may be worth reaching out to NVIDIA as a customer, as this may help bring more attention to the issue.
