Dust Vortex in Expeditions Sitting on Dropship

Other than the tornadoes simply being annoying and a silly design choice (if I do say so myself) and enemies shooting at you while you are stuck inside one whilst being kicked around and around. Not to mention it will throw the player into enemies much akin to the behavior of a mutant (I get it if that’s what you want.) They ARE easy to avoid except when they are also sitting on top of a salvage point. Mostly just annoying. At least one good thing is they’ll also pick up enemies.

Apparently we now have sentient tornadoes that track the player(s).

–> Had a mission a little bit ago that had a tornado (dust vortex) spawn near the extraction point, because why not? Sure, I get it. However, it sat directly ON TOP of the dropship ramp preventing us from getting inside said dropship to extract. Thankfully it finally kicked two of us around enough that they finally went INTO the dropship via the vortex.

–> How is this as a design decision? Or an oversight?

–> Is this intended to be “fun” gameplay when you have a hazard that is fully capable of sitting on TOP of the extract to prevent anyone on the team from getting INTO the ship?

There are 0 ways to avoid it other than letting time run down but it sat there for an extended period of time because … reasons.
