I’m using dual monitor and they’re seperatly connected to on board graphic and rtx 4090.(1 to rtx4090 and 2 to on board. display 2 is setted to main monitor for some reason)
As you see the screenshot i envelop, there are only two display 1 selection on configureation menu. I presume lower display 1 is onboard graphic. Computer barely run the game.
Main problem is that game runs on only display 2 not the 1. (Why this happening :-S) I need to run windowed mode every time to move game to display 1.
Other games are runs fine by setting. This issue only happnes on Darktide.
The game uses profer graphic card as adjust user_settings.ini file but still forcing to use display 1. Still there are two display 1 not the 1 and 2 on configure manu. Even the game crashes if i select to secondary display 1.
This bug not happens when both monitors connect to one graphic adapter. Only occur if use dual graphic adapter and monitors are connect to indivisually to them. (in case of me integrated graphic on mainboard and 4090)
Wait, you have a 4090 AND using the 2nd display on iGPU?
You’re not gaining anything by doing this, in fact you’re losing and creating problems and headaches like this one for nothing.
99.9% sure your 4090s is still rendering stuff but there’s now an unneeded copy operation to the iGPU which is eating resources for nothing and with more overhead. There’s very few cases where using the iGPU is useful if there’s a beefier GPU avail, it’s mostly for single screen laptops to save power IIRC .
A 4090 is ridiculously powerful for dual monitors, there’s zero reason to use the integrated GPU at all for anything, and is better off disabled.
TDLR disable integrated GPU.
P.S. In addition, change the plugged-in ports so your main screen is “first” in Windows.
Thank you for your advice but there are reasons to use this setting.
Many of game uses GPU resource to the end on 4k resolution. Once reaching this point, some delays occur on both monitors. I haven’t measure response time and inputlag but it is enough to give me bad experience.
It helps avoid this situation. 4090 renders the game with full capacity. And I can do some work sub monitor on ingtergrated graphic adator.
Other games work fine without any trouble on my setting. Hope you understand my point.
