Just played a hi-intensity shock troop gauntlet where a total of 164 specialists were killed before we wiped - 164. That’s a LOT of specials, and throughout the mission we were constantly getting hammered by flamers, bombers, and bursters. We eventually wiped during the finale because we could not fight the boss (and one of our veterans was feeding, but that’s besides the point - I think we would have failed even if he weren’t).

Checking a scoreboard from match history, a game on Hab Dreyko, infamous for being an extremely busy map, only had 92 specialist kills split between the team with about the same timeframe (30 minutes). It’s damn near impossible to handle. The director should stay consistent across a difficulty.

It’s out of your hands, but it seems to ignore the performance of your team. More noticeable on Auric Damnations, especially shock troop gauntlets. Keep track of specialist kills between games, then compare.

It’s not a bug, it’s how it was before they broke spawns - almost endless waves of enemies. Now it’s fixed.

Wasn’t the hotfix that patched broken enemy spawns like two months ago? The Hab Dreyko in the screenshot was seven days before the game I just played.

I suppose it’s a serverside thing and you don’t need to update the game for that. I don’t know what density they are aiming for, but on auric release it was like that - constant flow of specials.
