Difficulty set in Quick Play / Custom Game menu sometimes changes by itself

Normally when you open the Quick Game / Custom Game menu, the difficulty is set to what it has been previously. Now it occasionally changes to, for example, Veteran or Champion, despite only playing Legend and not touching the difficulty setting in a long while. I’ve been noticing this only recently. It’s a minor issue, but sometimes the player might accidentally queue into a game with different difficulty than they intended. I’m not sure of the exact steps to reproduce this.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. Set the difficulty to Legend in QP menu
  2. Join a game through QP
  3. After the game, open QP menu
  4. Difficulty is not necessarily set to Legend anymore
