I’m not sure this is a bug, but usually when you die during an event you respawn at the event. Yesterday I died during the magistrati mid event (wait for stairs) prior to the event finishing and I spawned much much farther along – almost right before you reach the oubliette. It took a good 10-15 minutes for my team to reach me.
