Given that a decent number of talents on Arbite focus on blocking and perfect blocks, and that the Devil Claws use a similar mechanic for perfect parries, it would be neat to have access to the Devil Claw on Arbite so that we can make builds based around this synergy.
Devils claws also has access to skullcrusher which synergises with arbites stagger focus.

speaking of skullcrusher, isn’t it weird that a blade has 4 impact blessings normally associated with blunt weapons?
i would have guessed more slicing & piercing blessings. catachan mk2 even looks like a katana, which can slice through tanks, as the internet knows.

It’s really wierd I don’t know why they gave it those blessings
Edit: I did some googling and apparently the devil’s claw blade is hollow and half filled with mercury, this would put more wieght behind swings so I guess this is why they have stagger focused blessings.

Devil’s Claw has always been my main weapon, so I’m looking forward to trying out the Arbites along with its further improvements.
Also, if parry is going to be implemented for the DS, I think it would be nice to have some more interesting blessings specifically for Perfect Blocks, especially ones where the risk is actually rewarded accordingly
