I must say some of those penances are still quite a challenge even for someone like myself that joined in November 2023! I am already bracing for when new penances are made as I haven’t been able to complete some due to skill, teamwork issues with other players, or mishaps in progression
Update August 10, 2024: I managed to achieve Master Of War for all four archetypes, and reached the current last reward of the Gloamus Cosmetics.
Now so far just pursuing Ogryns Heavy Hitter penance (which didnt count towards master of war and it only is for penance points).
As for the other ones like Frenzied Killer 2 & 3 (which has been hard to achieve since teammates and I get so occupied clearing and wading through hordes and I fall short of 89/90 in FK 2, staying alive been higher priority) I want that Krillhawk Claw lol
Untouchable (which is so cursed because of avoiding melee hits even for the toughness it still disqualified me despite blocking with maxed out stamina and stamina regens) I want the Winged Duty lol
eventually I will get Auric Exemplar (Complete 10 Auric Missions without dying) and I am attempting no cheese on it
I heard that we are getting three new weapons. Is that still the case, or are more weapons coming? I’ve heard some people saying that more weapons are on the way.
God help me, why does it always have to be so predictably, painfully minimum effort?
Yet the post is dripping with self-satisfaction, which, frankly, is entirely unjustified considering both the output of your neighbors/competitors and just the sheer amount of time. How the hell is this the best you can do after 7 months?
they’ve spent the entire time fighting over what to do for itemization, including coding stuff before some bigwig rug-pulls the entire thing and they have to start over again, at least twice over.
The Darktide team currently consists of like 5 people, none of whom are very good at their jobs, because VT2 is getting most of the attention.
3/4ths of the Darktide team’s work hours are spent in meetings berating them for not meeting production goals.
The C-suite don’t care so long as cosmetics profits stay up, and only have people work on Darktide when those drop.
Blasphemy!
This man doesn’t like the special communique we have gotten. We all should be happy and excited now that they’ve made their intentions known.
I’ll give them that the map looks fun and it’s an interesting twist on the standard foumla.
Looks wise it’s kind of what i expected but hoping that the set pieces are satisfying and fun to play. I’m also hoping we get more than one map in the area and maybe as the missions progress the ice gets more and more melted over time.
I’m hoping we don’t need to worry about agent health or anything like that as it might make the mission drag or that it could make the mission boring to replay.
Everyone’s more focusing on the meme-tier name of the NPC and the fact they seem to have screwed up content delivery again.
Plus, if you remember some of the map releases, there’s always the likelihood of a Fatshark Experience where it’s bugged to hell and high water on release.
Everyone wants to play more darktide. Which is also why they want to see a lot of game systems finished (crafting) so they can get on with the making of more Darktide.
And Swagger is literally Poochie in Darktide. The devs are the Fox producers deciding how best to implement story and decide to make an Assassins Creed/RE4 merchant cross up OC, because that is what’s hip and cool to gamers. C’mon guys, its a 30 year old joke but always relevant dialogue to creative bankrupt people alienated by their fans.
