I’d start with trying to update your audio drivers. Either get them from your mobo vendor, or alternatively windows update can sometimes have them in the “optional” section
Also there’s some file handle issue so try a re-verify of the game’s data files
Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
Select ‘Properties’
Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button

Last night I posted about the game crashing whenever I pressed play and it got to the end of the loading screen. I tried again today and now it doesn’t even show the loading screen and it makes my pc very unresponsive. Nothing on my pc has changed overnight. The game just decided to get worse with it’s crashes.

Issue Description:
The game is just crashing after the loading screen. Haven’t been able to play a single round. I just want to know what kind of crash this is and if there is any work being done on it?
Also, if I launch the game directly without the launcher it gives me a backend error.

I’ve got the same problem, I’ve been able to start it from the protected game.exe but unable to log into it to actually play, which is frustrating but farthest i’ve gotten. I wish you the best of luck

I posted a new crash on load thing yesterday. Was told about the Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling. I tried it. But the game still likes to crash after being done loading it. So it seems it didn’t work.

I did everything I was told. Updated everything. Even went to Windows 11 just for good measure.
Did the hardware-accelerated-gpu-scheduling thing. Revalidated my files.
Nothing works. And every crash it seems it just corrupts files.
This ain’t on my end.
