Using the Counter-Fire talent means it’s much harder to pinpoint specialists in a cluster of other shooters, I feel like shooters should be highlighter with a different hue, or less saturated variant of the effect to slightly differentiate them.
My understanding always was, that counterfire comes with a tradeoff.
More enemies to refresh your ult on.
Shooters are easier to see.
But specials and elites are more difficult to see, if shooters are around.
I don’t mind them not being all different colours for elites/specialists/ranged enemies, but the highlight colour being so similar to fire makes it not great for seeing through fire, which can happen fairly often.
I get the feeling that part is intentional.
I’d just like it if it was a colour that didn’t make enemies practically invisible in certain places on hourglass runs.
I don’t, I think seeing through fire and smoke would be usually the most common use for highlighting enemies, barring wallhacks.
