Controller zero deadzone issue

Issue Type (Required):

Other

Issue Description (Required):

On zero deadzone and linear response curve I expected the game to register the slightest thumbstick movement at a constant rate. But setting it to zero still has a built in deadzone which makes it awkward to acquire target and cant make small adjustments when aiming a gun. It’s not a controller problem because other games with deadzone settings work as intended.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. In controller settings move the deadzone slider to zero
  2. Resume to the game and notice there is still a large deadzone when slightly moving the thumbstick to look around or when aiming a gun.

Reproduction Rate (Required):

Constant (100%)

Platform (Required):

PC - Steam

I thought the same and I think it is more of the sensitivity problems.

Put the sensitivity to 2 and linear. See if it still happens.

What are your sensitivity and curves set at?

In other words, after experimenting around in pretty sure the initial response curve was so “low”, that it didn’t move at all. Know what I mean?

I’ve had issues with Steam overriding game controller settings – might be worth a check! IIRC it’s something along the lines of ‘disable Steam Input’…
