You still have to sell me on the idea of “oh they dissapeared, I don’t know what happened” , as I do not see anyone who acctually got any access to any of your accounts would be going for trolling in Darktide.
But, let’s assume it is reasonable for a second.
Yes most ppl would try to revert that or simply drop the game as whole in protest, because why not.
Regardless of the above, I suggest you read the Customer Agreement and it is pretty clear that FS is not responsible for anything that happens of your end.
If you get help from them on this, that is great and it is a courtesy.
I don’t have to sell you on anything. You’re a nobody on the internet. The post was made to highlight my frustration with Fatshark and their customer service. If they restore, great, if they don’t restore I’ll stop playing Darktide and go play something else. This is not the only game in existence, but it is weird that they are out of touch with their playerbase like this. This is also a warning to anyone perusing and considering the game.
My characters are deleted, not by me. Fatshark doesn’t do anything. Perhaps that will save someone else from a bad experience down the line.
tl;dr your opinion means nothing to me, FS should have just quietly fixed things and admonished me about 2FA/passwords.
And that’s all I’ve got, people can think what they want but given that: crafting isn’t implemented, maps took longer than expected to be implemented, there are no private lobbies, vast numbers of people are still experiencing a high number of crashes and optimization issues, etc. this is just one more thing potential customers should be wary of, the necessity to hand out your Steam friend code to strangers if you want to find a coordinated PUG… don’t you think maybe, just maybe they messed up or someone breached the account? That was rhetorical, I don’t expect an answer.
Again lol, with my 1st post situation. My friends account getting hacked and his arcana literally gone and the total worth is like probably $1000 if you include the gem. Do you think valve give a sh*t to him? If its your mistake not enabling 2FA or something similar Steam offers you, deal with it and be a better person.

Everyone was right, Fatshark does not have the tools to restore. I hope the next person who has their account compromised is luckier. Until then I will enjoy watching the reviews slip a couple percentage points each day. This company is a joke. <abuse removed>
