Chaos Wastes Red Weapon Trait Not Working

Kerillian has a red one-handed sword that can be gotten from weapon shrines in the Chaos Wastes. It has the trait “Bloodlust”, described as “Killing 5 enemies in a row increases attack speed. Stacks up to 5 times. Not killing anything for 30 seconds resets all stacks.”

It does not appear to work at all. Even when killing entire hordes of enemies quickly, the trait icon does not appear in active buffs to show that it’s working, and attack speed does not increase.

It’s pretty rare to get this sword, but I’ve gotten it twice now (in many hours of play) and both times it didn’t work as advertised.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. Be Kerillian, play Chaos Wastes mode
  2. Use a random weapon shrine of Red tier and get the one handed sword with bloodlust on it
  3. Be sad that your attack speed is not increasing

No CW weapon traits have buff icons, so I honestly can’t tell which of them work and which don’t.

Ah, good to know. I know the boons show buff icon but hadn’t really looked for weapon ones before. I think most of the weapon traits are single activation type things and wouldn’t show a buff icon, or are obvious if they’re working :person_shrugging:t2:
