Can we get more playerbase campaigns?

Back in the early days of Darktide, we had those massive campaigns to eliminate millions—if not billions—of heretics. I really enjoyed those, and if they brought them back with some sweet cosmetics or drip as rewards, I think it could do a lot for the game. Maybe not all the time, but as a seasonal event, it could keep things fresh.

Oh man, I just realized this would make Darktide feel similar to Helldivers 2 with their meta-campaigns. Not that it’s a bad thing—it would just give us more goals to chase, you know? At this point, I’ve already chased everything I care about, so I just play Darktide when the mood strikes.

These days, I’ve been spending more time creating maps for Foundry Virtual Tabletop for two Star Wars campaigns I GM. Usually, I’ll hop into Darktide, play until I get a win, then log off. I’m getting rusty, and I don’t like it. :laughing:

I like the idea, but rather than cosmetics - which FS seems loathe to give away, for easily understood financial reasons - how about the rewards are blog posts where they tell us what’s going on, or even - dare I say it? - balance patches.

That’d be worth fighting for.

Not a balance thing, but for example:

The Battle for level 75-TS.

Defeat Lt. Festerus, freeing level 75, and all players with Electrokinetic Staff Mastery will lose 4 mastery points! For Atoma!
