Instead of opening up their guard (or ignoring the stagger) like most weapons, they will put their shield in front of them like they blocked the shot when you shoot them and then stand there for like 3 seconds. Kind of annoying when you can’t get behind them cuz now you have a big shield blocking your view.

Yes, I’ve found that lately this kind of enemy often suddenly raises its shield after being staggered, unable to stagger it as reliably as before until it is killed. There must be some kind of bug
