In other games when you block someone it stops them from spamming ping noises, but in darktide they can still annoy the hell out of you with pings. Can this please be changed?

If PC then mod, but yes that would be a nice little QoL change if they’re not going to go the “fancier” route.
You can turn off the ping sound in the game settings

edit: I’m talking people who bind ping to left click and repeatedly ping every single melee elite, special, mutant and gunner, or people who rush to a choke point ahead of the team that is still dealing with a horde they spawned, then repeatedly ping the ground, wait out the restriction period, then send a dozen pings again in frustration at having to wait a whole 15 seconds for the team still killing things.

Some people use auto ping spam.
I guarantee you if you end up in a game with them you want to leave.
