Much like VT2, a QoL feature that is sorely missing is the auto-block when typing or trying to look at the menu.
I was recently in Auric Maelstrom and had an XBox player that was talking so loud my ears were about to bleed. I could not take the time to mute him because of the constant onslaught of enemies, and ended up dying. Please bring this feature back!
Mod for that. Mostly:
I don’t use any mods. I’d like to, but have no idea how to install them. I also hear mods break the game when new updates are installed, so I just stick to vanilla.
Most don’t. Just need to run the .bat file every patch.
They’re very easy to install and use.

There is a mod manager called “Vortex” that links to the nexusmods site where all these mods are.
I don’t use it, but have a look as I genuinely think you’ll find it straightforward.
It’s a shame that the Fatshark development team really have just walked away from lots of essential qol features. And I can see the irony of essential and qol, but they really are. Nowadays mods are great, but old crafting mods really were essential unless you wanted to click “roll” 600 times by hand.
… But also, huge praise due to those people who’ve given their time to make our lives better as players!
