I’d bet they just don’t target bursters on their own, but we’ll find out soon enough!

The official announcement post makes it sound that way:
“Exact punishment with extreme prejudice: Muscle forwards with reinforced Assault Shields and a choice of Dominator Maul or Arbites Shotpistol - Darktide’s first defense/range combo.”
I’m curious about how they’ll manage separate skins - does your shield swap colors if one happens to be gray and the other is red?
I guess we’ll find out soon enough

Weapon cosmetics are separate, like Ogryn s shield, so probably it’s the same here.

Hmm, so the Shotpistol will be a combo (Shotpistol/Shield) kind of like the Ogryn?
ogryns use both hands to reload a rumbler or kickback.
but using a shield with a knife would be nice.
