I’m enjoying the new class, don’t get me wrong. But this thread isn’t about that.
You start off with one cosmetic set. If you buy the premium DLC you get one more. Other than that you can only buy more Cosmetics from Hallowette for Aquilas A.K.A. real money, and there might be some from pennances.
Meanwhile every other class in the game has a raft of cosmetic sets in the Commisary, 20 or so. I’m not expecting that many sets on launch for the new class but… really? You got ONE cosmetic set unless you pony up? That’s pretty poor form, Fatshark. I hope this’ll be rectified in future patches 'cause right now it seems like a pretty cynical vie for cash.
The Commissary was created to temporarily silence everyone mad about how there were essentially no non-paid cosmetics.
It has not been updated since, because it did its job.
I would not anticipate it receiving an update until and unless Darktide’s steam review score and player count drop below mixed and ~2k players respectively.
There are some pennance cosmetics, but not many and seemingly no Havoc rewards, which is unfortunate, I was excited to see what if anything was cooked up as their Havoc cosmetic set.
