They will probably add 2 more just like they did for the Arbites.

Just to say.
With Arbites we went from 5 slots to 8, giving (unmodded) access to all the back end slots.
If we have an increase of slots this time then they also need to increase the number of slots in the back end too.
Which would be reassuring for other reasons too.

Officially 8 slots. The game showed only 5 before the patch, but there were 8 already which one could use with the more characters a and loadouts mod.
I’m hoping so, given the amount of people that mod many already had 8 even before Arbite, and now that they made 8 the default it makes it even MORE likely the wider community porceeded to use them. I know I saved 1 extra slot for the next class (being arbite at the time) knowing that it would likely go from 5 to 8 when they did finally make one, but I did not save 2 (for those wondering why, I liked having multiple voice pack options before they made you able to ‘personality scourge’, and now I’m to attached to them/put to many collective hours across them to get rid of them).
So uhh…I hope there’s an addition of 1 or even 2 more slots! would be nice/I’d actually be able to get the class then. and as Cactus said it’s ‘reassuring for other reasons’, namely that they actually have the technology to add more slots with new releases and that you can expect more as they do more of these.
But, worse comes to worse I can always just delete my Arbite….I put the 100 required missions into him, got the penances as I went, and left to never touch him again, so if the new class is actually fun I can just delete him…yeah…might do that if I have to….
Don’t let anyone tell you thats immeasurably complex, thats like 2 minutes of work in a database context. It’ll be fine and I’m sure they’ll add some more unless they forget, which is the most likely reason they wouldn’t do it.
Be nice if we could have confirmation either way.
