Another timer complaint for expeditions

There is two types of players in expeditions. Those who likes the timer and those who don’t. I’m in the latter category. If Fatshark makes Tech Remnants a currency that can be used for something and players are forced to play a mode they don’t like some aspects of it is a bad idea. Expeditions biggest dividing mechanic (outside of the things that on most people agree) is the timer. I came up with a solution that both sides (I think) will like.

BEHOLD THE RADSTORM. (Sry for the AI picture)

The radstorm is a modifier that goes around the nodes (like a real storm) and makes the area’s air radiated. In this modifier we will have the timer just like now but the nodes that are didn’t have this is free to roam at your leisure. I think this modifier would please both sides of the timer war and players can choose what they like. Thoughts?

I had matches exceeding the 50 minute mark, whats left of the map after that to roam?

The night map with extra long timer can be farmed for bosses but I think you earn more salvage by just quickly playing another map​:man_shrugging:

What is it that you think you’re missing lol. there are sights of interest and maybe a couple of unmarked caches but nothing crazy that would be worth spending unlimited time on. I already don’t like the game mode but at least the timer forces players to focus on the task at hand rather than just mindlessly “explore” worthless areas. I would drop the mode if they got rid of the timer I already can’t stand some people in the regular missions who take way too long checking every corner even when they have full ammo and grenades and everything else.they could release a site with even more time than the 30 minutes one but I certainly would never play it.
