i mean what are the “decision makers” thinking here? i´m not playing any MORE than i already am cause there´s an event, but the moment i´m logged in i like to play the most entertaining content available.
didnt put more hours into infected moebian than i otherwise would have had into HISTG or maelstrom (fk havoc ) but not having those options as a constant seems nuts to me

i’d just like moebians, cranial and brutes added to monstrous, with quickplay of course.
instead, moebians are pulled and another separate (?) mode is introduced.

We’ve been down this road many times and my faith in the process is very low.
IDK where the issues are in the designers+testers spectrum, but yikes.
I’m also doubly worried they’re going to break something new with the changes, and that will go unfixed for another 3-6 months (5+).
Because then they’d have no content for those great ‘events’.
FS with Darktide is all about recycling and delivering minimum viable product (more or less) on time.
I’m hoping for some new weapons for the veteran soon, but this will hold me over for now. Nice work, can’t wait to see what gameplay will be like for the new mode!

Please give a buff to the autoguns! On high difficulties, they don’t have enough good damage blessings, they lose to Accatran! It’s not funny anymore, Vrax, Graya, Columnus are just weak against the background of rapid-fire akkatrans with their ability to SET ENEMIES on FIRE. They are simply useless on Havoc difficulty, because they cannot proto kill powerful enemies! Raise their damage or fire rate, finally give them normal blessings!
I can’t play the game properly, after assignments or achievements for amnesia.It breaks the whole game , I want to play, not perform tasks .After that, I don’t want to play it at all. .In the new finals mode, there is no player selection, you can no longer join.Only bots are playing.Make it so that you can play normally with the selection of players who have left the task.For new ones to join .

I’ll wait and see, Fatshark is great at dropping a huge update that has unintended consequences, and then actively sticking their head in the sand while player numbers plummet
Seems like a great update! Ogryn really needs some love and the new game mode seems cool. I just hope there would be a better reward than information.
I really don’t understand the hate for havoc. It’s the only reason why I started playing again. Aurics are really easy and you can use any build on it and it works. It’s okay for practice and quick play but not something that keeps the interest of higher level players.
I hope that in the future updates they think about adding new kinds of rewards for doing difficult missions. I know it’s unlikely to happen, but having some weapon cosmetics or other cosmetics as a reward in havoc boxes could make a big difference. Or red weapons as someone already suggested on another thread. I don’t have a lot of bad to say about havoc, but since it was introduced, I have done many level 40 missions per week. I have all the havoc penances completed as well. So, it’s once again starting to feel that I have done everything that there is.
If you think about games like Diablo 2 that had a really long life, the reason for it was the loot. You do a difficult mission which is rewarding on it’s own but then you can have some unique items as well.
I also hope that new maps, new classes and new weapons are high on the priority list.

When I was working on it yesterday evening, I added a bunch of code, hit save and preview and it just stopped showing up. Steam being Steam again. Praying it doesn’t fight me when I open it up in a moment.

Sounds a bit painful. Have you guys considered just posting the patch notes in one place and linking to it on different media platforms, or do you regard it as not the type of service you want to do?
I’m more curious than anything, but considering that this isn’t an approach you had taken so far, there must be some reasons for posting the update notes on each platform?

presumptous “team mates” that deny me access cause of class while hiding behind mandatory umbrella talents and often times being the worse mechanically skilled player still.
pop a dome, wiggle the book, camp it out and proceed.
compared to clutching and carrying maelstroms and histg, havoc feels like being put on a leash.
some number tweaking here and there and a couple “viable” loadouts lest the randos crap their pants
speaking of randos, for better or worse stuck with em, got no premade (need to get along on a personal lvl with someone in order to wanna hang with discord etc) aint looking for premade.
what i’m looking for is a challenge i can do despite 3 other variables, not just because 3 other variables.
hence i did havoc 40 to get my bragging rights and never touched it since.
not looking for a “raid” experience either with “mandatory gear score”, physical skill first and foremost, not arguing why my oggy would still carry and waste 20 minutes finding a decent match.
I’m very positive it won’t because Funcom is making the game.
Look, I’ve tried every Funcom game because it’s fun to get some Scandinavian games, but Funcom is the type of dev that has the talent, abilities, and concepts but consistently mismanages and fumbles.
The Secret World is one of my favorite MMORPGs - it’s now more of a single-player game, and see how they ruined it with a absolutely awful engine and combat - which they screwed up even more in the “re-release”.
The quest narrative, scenery, and overall atmosphere are fantastic, but Funcom’s games never seem to hit the mark.
Sorry if I’m negative, and I do genuinely hope you enjoy Dune, but from what I’ve seen, it’s the standard Funcom project: amazing concepts, strong IP (similar to TSW), but looks janky with awful combat (the previews for Dune combat were embarassing for a 2025 game) and underdeveloped.
How Funcom could fumble The Secret World is… unbelievable.
