Pretty sure this has been broken for a couple months.

OP uploaded the images with so few pixels, that (aside from the 3D character head, where the preview does work) almost no details can be seen.
The pixelation is so bad, that the compression artifacts actually make it seem like the preview does properly show different hairstyles.

The issue is, that the 2D preview in the little boxes does not work.
This affects the menus for face, haircut and facial hair selection.
The 3D preview on the character model works fine.

Here is an image from the haircut selection, that shows the issue:

My character’s face and facial hair are shown correctly, but all haircut options (male character) are shown as “bald” in the little preview windows.
Clicking on the boxes will preview the correct hairstyle on the 3D character model.
