since the new launcher for V2 was implementing, windows mixer is very laggy and unresponsive. you can reproduce this by launching the game and try using windows mixer. its very buggy because of vermintide 2 launcher

Could you please restart Steam and see if this issue is still occurring? One of our developers has potentially addressed this issue in a small launcher update.
