Title, wouldn’t it make sense to give it the Scab Rager treatment like, and make Scab Flamer slower but more armoured? (Flak)
Flak would definitely be less tanky because most weapons dunk on that with high ADM while high Maniac ADM is pretty rare. But they did make another version of the Scab Flamer that doesn’t use special aggro and moves while burning for the Inferno live event. I was hoping there’d be some mix up for the 2 flamer enemies to make them less obvious content padding. Like if the tox flamer was a little weaker in terms of damage, but their plume of green fire actually buffed the horde enemies it touches instead of frying them.

Scab Flamer is the only two Maniac among all scab enemies
I think Flak enemies are already numerous enough compared to Maniac enemies in the game.

If everyone wasn’t taking +25% flak dmg, sure.

It would be good to give some difference to both flamers since they’re mechanically the same, even if its reducing the damage output of the tox flamer but adding in some corruption damage. If they were to put the scab flamer in flak, I don’t trust them to not give it a carapace chest for no reason a week later.
