I thought it was supposed to be the DPS class given it has the lowest HP and Shield of all classes and a measly 2.5% more crit chance, but I find myself being constantly outdamaged by all other classes that are not a shield ogryn.
The staves are more CC than DPS.
Void, which IMO is the best damaging staff, has an innate ability to throw all enemies on their butts making it incredibly difficult to reliably hit them on the head.
Trauma is pretty much useless and with a gimmicky targeting system, and Purgatus is great with hordes but useless otherwise.
The Surge staff has had its day in the sun with the bug, and it’s now broken trash.
BB is has an extremely niche use, and even there it is outshined by any other skill or weapon.
Assail has been deemed “too strong” and is constatly being nerfed.
At this point I feel my psyker is a glorified CC support that can barely face an enemy on his own.
I went from 0 to 100 peril TWICE just to kill a shieldbearer with the Surge staff…
If that’s the case, at least put us on par with the other humanoids in terms of defense.
From the perspective of a Zealot main I absolutely love playing with Psykers, they are great support and force multipliers for me (especially if the bring both Smite and Dome).
From a perspective of a person who would like to start playing as a Psyker I don’t even know how to begin learning that class lol.
Yes, and now psyker builds are just noob build which is the easiest to use but has the lowest potential now.
Compared to Vets, Psy needs no almost perfect headshot rate.
Compared to Zealots, Psy needs no perfect position choosing.
Compared to Ogries, as they are the same noob, but they are much more strong.
Actually, all classes suck now, and much more likely to rely on teammates, as those were ussally selfish (likely run alone, hard contact with enemies which they can not deal with, then just run away left their teammates to suffer) and stupid (likely found carrying TOYS to play gold votex), espeacially CHINESE, so best players offten find themselves can carry their teams alone just because those “reasonable nerf”.
Fatshark wants people to cooperate, to share the joy of battles, however, their players are not GTFO players (In China, best GTFO players almost have the worst tolerance for bad players, for in GTFO, ONE CAN NEVER DEAL WITH EVERY UNNECESSESARY TROBLE !

As for me the psyker was the one class I loved to play, with him gone it’s become a slog, so I thik I’ll peace out at least until they fix the Surge staff.
I quite like the psyker. But I would agree that while able to dish out pretty impressinve hord damage the psy is before all the team player role. smite/shield/trauma can bring a lot of protection and controle. And having someone watching your back open you to go full psychic and destroy most of the opponents.
However, the data was from the version in which surge bug still and handcanno bless bug still works (after the 1st nerf after classes rebuild)
And, game services players, game balance as well, or you think which just a math model or Best players must carry worst ones? I personly guesse if someone can not try to push themsleves to their best just in games, at least they should learn Not to ruin the others just because their skill sucks
You say it’s op but yet it’s so slow now my staff can out dmg it by a long shot since it can be turned into full auto magic like gun with mods and has a lower perils charge up so you can hit so much more
The only reason assail is so much more fun is it just hits what ever you look at you don’t need to aim that much at the cost of doing very little dmg to anything armored

Assial is strong before for it is well cooperate with guns like handcanon, you may use Assial to do much damage to hordes in a very short time, and then switch to guns to deal with speacials, reload time will just cover your Assial loadings.
Handcanon bug may bring damage to some elite so those can be deal with alongside the hordes at the same time by Assial, and with 6 buff for 24% damage increase, handcanon with 25% anti-manics can one tap flamers at farest 14m without crit.
