It looks like they’re doing (or attempting) that through the new mutations

Current meta builds aren’t really good at dealing with Daemonhosts

Current meta builds rely on CC and crits a lot (Enraging enemies could be a pain for these)

Suppression will probably be more needed to be able to shut down the gunners being healed by enemies around them? (Theorycrafting)

And Rampaging enemies is probably a counter to DoT but don’t take my word

-Made havok grindier by forcing players to go to 40 piece by piece, and completely removing incentive to join other peoples havoks.
-completely gutted old modifiers and replaced them with infuriating bs ones.

Does this mean the modifier that lets gunners and shooters play hardcore call of duty against us is gone?

I think most of the old ones are also infuriating bs but these new ones seems interesting…

Proposed mutators look less annoying than old ones

The Blight spreads is the biggest annoyances ever

Cranial corruption Made gunners even worse as you can’t CC them and they fire a lot faster

Hard Pus gave enemies an innate 50% damage resistance just for spawning

The only one that wasn’t annoying was Moebian 21st

But literally all new mutations only trigger if a player does something/fails to do something

why does it have to be some convoluted system?

your systems design is just so bad - why do you insist on making playing this game a chore?

So wait. Before if everyone is at 40 we get a collective 12 tries at some havoc 40. Now we get 3 collective tries? Then we derank to H39? Whaaat? Thats awful.

then that’s 100% of the player base’s choice
the players that the mode was actually supposed to appeal to would only pick the hardest maps

Sooo, no body gona talk how bad rewards is?
Only money + materials, no good weapon, no cosmetics (i dont count dangling one at 40)…
Suggestion, give player a request for weapon/curio with preferred dump/characteristic stat, depends of rank, how un-upgradet it will be, and at 40 just 500 weapon power or same for curio.

**Feature Suggestion : ** Give us the ability the select between 2-3 maps when get a rank?

Currently it’s only one map, unless you derank or force-derank. That’s what we were doing, to get different maps, so we don’t have to do same one over and over.

It would be cool to at least have an option for another map.

I do not play Havoc anymore so I don’t really have much interest in this, but does this mean the same shooty Mc. Jackson ranged elites are still spraying and beaming players, AKA, bubble shield life is still going to be the safest way to get through?

instead of wasting dev resources on something like this, they should have used them to improve Maelstrom by replacing its boring mutators (such as “no ammo, melee only”) with something more engaging.
since there’s no cumbersome matchmaking system, anyone can join easily, and there are no penalties, so not many players would feel forced to stick to meta builds.

I still maintain the second part of my previous statement though.

i played my first game in several weeks yesterday and bubble shield + yellow toughness made it very boring
