The new UI that is used to report bugs on these forums can be frustrating to use and can waste my time. It’s incredibly compact, too small even to actually be able to even have oversight over my own draft for the post, it’s distracting and makes it difficult for me to actually concentrate on making bug reports.
There’s also other issues, like how it doesn’t save drafts and will wipe the draft if anything is wrong with it. Like trying to upload a .config file which isn’t supported by the topic draft for bug reports, even though .config files are important to share user settings. And drafts get wiped if you use a title that has been used before for another post.
Occasionally video evidence I share is longer than a few seconds, and that can make it larger than the allowed upload limit, which means I have to use a workaround and not actually use supporting evidence section of the template. This part could be solved by also allowing people to use embeds for it, such as for youtube videos or videos hosted on other platforms.
This new UI is not good, it’s counterproductive to being able to concentrate and it has wasted my time on multiple occasions.
Steps to Reproduce (Required):

Try to upload a file that isn’t a .log or picture or video

Draft gets softlocked and forces a wipe

Try to write a description that’s longer than 3 sentences

Can’t see the whole draft anymore
