THE TRAITOR CURSE PART 2 - Coming December 2023!

Ambushing strike teams with the twins sounds interesting. A rare special encounter basically.

Strange the Imperium would allow us to use stims that were manufactured by Nurgle worshippers.

Would love to see crafting RNG changes :stuck_out_tongue:

Making the key stones easier to reach is nice. Still doubt I will use em.

orr probably refers to ā€˜the torrent’ which I think makes sense considering shes hinted to have a past there, assuming the end bit is referring to a location

The stimms are probably the regular Imperial ones - the cinematic featuring them shows they have an aquila symbol. The heretics using them as a vector for the Blight doesn’t mean the regular caches they came from are all contaminated.

Hopefully something to discourage xbox lone wolfs

I love crosswords!
The first words are obviously explicator zola based on the recently intercepted communicae.

As this is a teaser for the story, the last word ought to refer to a location where we might find more information. I would guess the torrent, as it’s the only map with ā€œorrā€ in the name.

disp and at are tougher to decipher. This has got to be referring to what zola’s doing there. One popular theory is that zola is the actual traitor within the warband, feeding information to the heretics (possibly gene stealers).

Crackpot guess:
ā€œExplicator Zola disappeared.ā€
Latest Vox Transmission mentions that Zola is out in the field and AWOL.

Gameplay:
Limited-time-event -Find Explicator Zola in a random hidden corner of the map during missions. Freeing her adds her as an AI NPC to the team as a 5th member for the rest of the mission but the game gets harder with more frequent hordes/specialists/etc.
Reward for getting her to the extraction is some multiplier for Ordo dockets and crafting mats.

I knew it was worth running the new map so much, to horde the drugs!

Fan the hammer revolver sounds kinda kickass, even if I’ll end up with no ammo.

Progress!

Dispatched or disposed makes the most sense. Disappeared would have made the most sense but we’re missing an a there.

Orr maybe morrow?

Ive been thinking maybe the ā€˜disp’ and ā€˜at’ could be chunks from the middle or end of a word, instead of necessarily being the start of one, even harder to think of words fitting that criteria though

ā€œatā€ suggests a location, unless at is also a shortened word.

New weapon MARKS?

It’s been a year! Where is the meltagun. The bolt pistol. And so on.

Just more lazy weapon bloat by making a million variants of weapons we already have… when you could have stuck with the weapon customization system that was clearly scrapped before launch.

Really disappointing! Add NEW weapons!

orr could be morrow actually, thats a good shout

disp is almost exclusively a prefix part of a word, unless it goes with another prefix like ā€œreā€ or ā€œun/inā€

ā€œatā€ I’m not sure. ā€œDisparateā€ contains both disp and at, but I can’t see how it fits.
