The launcher takes up 12-20% cpu usage up from 1-3% and i have to force close it

Im not sure what category this falls under so im posting it here.

Today i noticed the launcher is taking up anywhere from 12-20% of my cpu and i have to go into task manager and end the process every time. This does not stop me from playing the game but why is it suddently taking up 12-20% instead of the usual 1-3%? Vermintide 2 alone takes up 28-60% of my cpu which isnt a problem but when the launcher is open i notice fps drops and cant reach anywhere near my maximum fps.

As we all know vermintide 2 is a game thats hardly been optimised over the years so thats why it matters @Fatshark_Hedge @FatsharkJulia @FatsharkLev

Please upload your vermintide2_launcher.log and we’ll check it out:

  1. Press Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to ‘Fatshark’ → ‘Vermintide 2’
  4. Upload the ‘ vermintide2_launcher ’ log here
