Special Spawn at the Wrong Bridge at Into the Nest

Hi!
Recently I’ve played some Into the Nest, reached the bridge with 2 possible routes and noticed specials spawning on the non-existening path.
Steps to reproduce:

  1. Play Into the Nest.
  2. Get to the location mentioned above.
  3. ???
  4. See specials levitating in air.

If the description is unclear, here’s the screenshot:

There was also a gunrat at this location, but it died long before I’d realized where it stood.
