The new update is great and all, real fun stuff to play through, but not without some problems. These are the ones I’ve noticed and some ones I think you could’ve fixed with this update.
Commissary:
I reckon someone beat me to this but there still aren’t Commissary skins for newer weapons (i.e. Bolt Pistol, Relic Blade, etc), now there’s four more weapons that don’t have things in the Commissary. You may view this as the game development equivalent of heckling your old high school friends for the $5 they borrowed in the 7th grade, but you’re adding stuff to the pirate woman that’s right next to it. Someone’s bound to notice that disparity, and it’s guaranteed that one of them is gonna be upset. However you’ve accidentally introduced a new problem in this update: A plothole. Used too the woman who runs the Commissary get shot in the lvl 30 cutscene with Rannick, then the next time you go over there she’s a servitor. You can connect the dots and say “ooooh it’s that gal”. Now she just turns into a lobotomite off screen. That may just be me, for all I know I’m the only one who kinda liked the old story.
Arbites:
Ok I can see what you removed the multi-class head cosmetics, I used the vox mouth thing and my guy’s top lip was clipping through his own teeth. But just removing them was kind of a jerk move, especially since Arbites get slim pickings in terms of cosmetics, so I think adding them back after some fixes would be a good idea. Speaking of multi-class cosmetics, we’re missing some backpacks; in my case it’s the red closet thing with the braziers. Right now most of them don’t match but that red one would pair well with the red armors. Lastly I think Arbitrators should have access to the Chain Axe, if they have the Chain Sword they should get the Chain Axe
Other stuff
While I’m here I might as well dump some other suggestions on your lap. I said this on the Steam Forums but I’ll say it again: It might be best to take the Dueling Sword away from Zealot, I hear rumors of nerfs aimed at the Maccabian toothpick and I think punishing one class that benefits too much from it is better than everyone suffering. I can elaborate in another post, which will just be me copypasta-ing my original Steam post here with some extra thoughts/elaboration. On the other side of the coin, revert some of the changes to Ogryn’s Point Blank Barrage; mainly that one talent that used to give 30% extra rending, which now trades half of that for 15% more damage. Everything else in Ogryn’s tree is for the better but the PBB stuff could use some tweaks. Lastly give us some confirmation on when the Melta Gun is gonna be added. If you’ve changed your mind on giving us rejects that kinda firepower then at least give us peace, if the flame must die out then then let it go out on your terms.
