How is Dukane even a character? She just stands besides the Havoc board voicing terrible lines.
I have 500 hours in this game and I didn’t even know half of what you wrote. And I still can’t care about any of it at all.

Yeah, she gets pointless little conversations with other characters when you’re in the hub and that’s it. Oh, and in the train map, which I try to avoid.
Why do we even get to hear these communications between the higher-ups? I know it’s for us, the characters, but given how much they go on about how we’re worthless rejects, you’d think that Dukane wouldn’t want them hearing that she’s trying to recruit Morrow, or that Masozi and Hadron are arguing again.
That’s what so dumb about this vehicle of story delivery. Open Vox channels for the entire ship and the band of doomed rejects to hear and they’re squabbling like first graders.
Dukane is only there due to being leader of the famed Steelheads, the Branx-born Moebian 53rd Regiment, but, that in it’s self should not grant vox communications in game due to what you stated.
I also agree with that statement as you said she just stands there polluting the place.
TBH Masozi is only there to transport us to and from the planet as she is part of the warband. When she is not doing that she is training the fighter pilots of the Morningstar. So her vox communications are just a useless filler I guess.
