Thats wat i ment yes. Also it doesnt matter as much on ogryn coz he stacks so much heavy damge passivly in his tree it breaks the maniac rule but for the other classes the shirtless dudes are just way tankier than the flak ones and now their ridiculously fast and impossible to stagger when their more than 5x which is often you are forced to quick swap a ranged weapon to fight them coz you get your pants pulled down in melee combat against them.
This isnt even that much of a problem compared to the normal tiny gunner enemies ripping your toughness faster than the actually gunner elites now. They should 100% have the damage reduced by the gunner resistance on curios
This is from most weapons having a bonus vs flak. Unarmored is actually a pretty tanky enemy type for damage resistance and explains a lot of my perk choices. Like on Lucius or Bolter, I use unarmored specifically so that dreg gunner doesn’t survive a non-critical headshot with like 80 HP (on Veteran).
I understand we need shooties in the game and I love this patch, but shooties contribute very little to the fun factor of the game. As an Ogryn enjoyer (and in general), I dislike this part of the patch.
After playing the level a lot more, I must say I actually really enjoy it now. It’s got a good pace and doesn’t feel too long.
I wasn’t sure about it at first but I’m now always quite happy when it rotates on a quick play.
Clipping issues need to be sorted… I am getting stuck and stopped by small ledges/curbs/steps at various points but I’m sure those will get ironed out.
@FatsharkStrawHat it would be nice to mention the hidden 30% spread reduction bonus so people can be aware.
A further change, there was a 10% spread penalty when running on top of the the 30% bonus (net 20%) that is now gone, so you always get the full 30% spread reduction, again this needs to be in the blessing description.
P.S. It’s also weird that there are hidden tiers now even though only T3 can drop.
Always 30% now with no 10% penalty for running anymore.
Pretty sure they intentionally excluded some weapons from getting it.
Close Range (HA!) damage is still conditional, so that’s still only when sprinting but now 12%.
The new shotgun has it as does the bolt pistol as @MarxistDictator pointed
out, which makes it interesting…
