Pretty sure that whole event is just screwed up. The boss drops earlier/before the horde if everyone hugs the far wall. If everyone just sits in the center arena the boss drops with or a little bit after the chaff horde. Sometimes it’s a whole minute of no spawns even after the boss voice lines play.
That’s what it certainly sounded like to me. But if it wasn’t, then please, elaborate what you meant in your original comment.

Captains dont need buffs, but rework to make them more varied and uniqe.
Making them more unique is a waste of resources if, even on the highest difficulty, the players will kill them in less than 30 seconds.
Its balance issiue and its not stoping from reworking captains to be more interesting.
Ofc if DT recive proper balacing either before or after captains rework.
