The “quick work” penance which requires you to put all three samples at the end event into the machine within 5 sec on the map excise vault spiderside-13 is not unlocking, even though we put all 3 in less than 5 seconds. Tried it twice and were within the 5 sec limit both times yet the penance did not unlock for anyone in the party.
Either the tooltip is wrong and you do not have 5 seconds or the penance is bugged.

This one has bugged for a few of us. Done it several times now and it’s never counted. Same goes for the Hard Mode completion of the Orthos level. Penance tab says there was a reward for ages but still doesn’t count the penance for claiming. Reported that back about 2 weeks after the sibling release, still no word. And Quick Work too has never triggered- had a team of auric elites and we dropped them all in at the same time on VO cue and it didn’t crack for any of us. I’m on 5160 penance score with all weapons etc and it’s quite frustrating just having those sat there.

Interesting. I read that people had more success on unlocking the quick work penance when it was voice coordinated and inserted all 3 samples roughly at the same time, so I thought maybe the time requirement is 1 sec instead of 5 sec, but your example shows that it might be something else…
Aight, I’m adding it as further evidence in the Book, since it’s still busted.

Just an update.
I did recieve it not long ago with a premade group. A couple of points for someone else who might want to recreate it, we had a private game, we did it on sedition difficulty and we put all 3 in at the same time due to voice communication.
There might be some hidden condition behind the penance because 5 sec is long enough for one person to put all 3 if he prepares them, and I also read someone trying it like that and the penance still didnt pop. The time is either 1 or 2 sec or it has to be in private game or on low difficulty, I dont know but my previous two tries were also in the time limit and didnt work out …
You can run between all 3 slots, picking up and inserting the vacuum capsules and inserting them in 5 seconds? Would you be happy to share a recording? That would be quite impressive.
I havent done it, but read online that someone did manage to do it (so yea there is some doubt there). knife zealot I think can be fast enough to pull it out.
