The audio for the burster was THERE… but not in a useful way. I heard the beeps starting with the Mutie shout & shortly afterward (it’s INSANELY muted and obviously drowned out by everything else going on!), it stopped proximity pings when it got closer until the jump where we all know they have a reliable audio cue… which is often not possible to react to because they’re already jumping.
The trappers and flamer definitely had no spawn audio (based on this clip) and no travel muttering.
I know there are issues like the silent Poxburster and Trapper that we are fixing. Hopefully out soon in upcoming patches. We’re working on better solutions when multiple specials arrive at the same time.
Why is the game lowering sound levels for enemies when characters speak?
Firstly, Is that the dialogue trim slider? It has no tooltip or explanation of what it does. Mine is at 0dB. What does increasing or lowering the dB actually do?
Secondly, I don’t want to lower the VO volume. I want the game to not lower other sounds when a VO plays.
