Ogryn's power maul cosmetic does not have the power button

We kindly ask that you complete the questions below. With this information, we can add it to our database for investigation.

Issue Description:
There is a visual difference between the standard appearance and the ‘Fire Wastes Camo’ cosmetic. The button on the handle that your ogryn presses when using your special is not visible. I have not tested if other cosmetics for the ogryn power maul also have this missing.

Steps to Reproduce:
[Please add the steps that can help our QA department in reproducing the issue.]

  1. Equip the cosmetic ‘Fire Wastes Camo’ for ogryns power maul
  2. Enter either ‘The Meatgrinder’ or any mission (difficulty does not seem to matter)
  3. Check the weapon visually and see that the button/switch on the handle is missing
  4. Compare this with the standard cosmetic of the power maul which has this button

Thank you for your report! Not very familiar with this weapon, sorry, could you point out to me where the power switch is on the base skin?

Of course! The button is right above your thumb when holding the weapon (that black round object visible from the angle you hold the weapon).

Righto! So I’m guessing on the red skin, this is meant to be the button but the animation doesn’t match the placement?

That seems likely. The animation is the same when pressing (so you just press on the handle instead of a button). Do you also know if it’s inteded that the ‘Fire Wastes Camo’ is so visually different from the standard skin? The whole mace is slightly different and most other weapon skins are only different colorations or slight changes (like engraving or with cloth around the handle).

'Tis not the first of these skins that severely alters the base mesh, so that’s probably intended! I’ll raise this issue though, in case artists want to fix the button not matching the animation.

Thank you for the response. I think it might be easier to move the button than to make a new animation for a skin only. Visually it would still look good.
