Are these “sweats” in the room here right now? You’re just making stuff up in your head to rally against.
If you’d been paying attention most of the “sweats” posts, you’d have seen more posts asking for the Ringos (and similar) to be bigly buffed.
And if you can’t see how broken OP the rapiers are (which OFC you can’t), then this is your reminder: don’t eat muties!

The “rework” has done nothing to improve its animations, attacks angles, and combos.

I wish the Ogryn’s Power Maul had similar attack chains and characterises of for example the 1 handed hammer from Vermintide 2. The current moveset is terrible.

Double the heavy attack speed.
Increase all damage by 50%
Remove movement penalty for activating the Maul
Rework the special so it’s either single entity damage like the Hammer, or a huge shock explosion that throws chaff around like the Zealots Crusher.

ye the powered attack just does nothing, at least pre rework it had an unique mechanic that would make you stun locks whole rooms of enemies and it was kinda fun, but as always they leaned toward normalizing everything to the same frustrating equitable state

Imo this was bad. It was basically a pseudo smite, you just keep spamming the activation and nothing could fight back, and wasn’t very fun for any party involved.

In general I would love for it to have a similar moveset to the Crusher. Having a somewhat more in depth on Ogryn that isn’t the Krourk 4 would be fun. And would also hopefully make there be 3 really good weapons on Ogryn to use other than Pickaxe and Shield.

This alone is all it needs to make it just a good all rounder.
If you could spam the activate like the Zealot Crusher it would suffice imo.

I totally agree, Power Maul it’s perfectly fine weapon if you take the effort to build around it.
But the rooting when pressing the button it’s annoying and also doesn’t make sense.

as if undamaging crowd control was ever going to be a community drama issue, besides it was funny, for everyone involved, not just for the user

it had very big limits, it didn’t trivialize the game as much people made it up to be
