I don’t know that classic Arbi grey cloak is really calling to me, and the Witch Hunter themed cosmetic sets are pretty neat also. Actually unique models. Credit where credit is due and all that stuff…

you’d think they would have a few rotation’s worth of NEW arbites cosmetics ready to go just because of the player spike - nope. it’s a bit worrying when they didn’t even try to poop out some chromas lol
tbh, i’d rather have nothing than some cheap camo recolours and/or some pirate garb.

Wild to see the level of thirst for MTX. I think there might be more people pissed about no new Arbites MTX to buy a month after its launch than people pissed that the other sets are a kinda weak rerun.
If profit was FS’s absolute #1 priority, they’d be swimming in cash. Not that I don’t think they’re probably already killing it with the number of paid cosmetics I see in every match.

Nothing short of making their shop practices illegal will make them change the shop in any positive way.

I was going to come ask if this was an off season april fools joke.
I’m not quiet about what I think of MTX, but it’s like FS doesn’t even want money.
New DLC class ushers in recent all time high player count and people gush for the Dredd RP and tourists are ready to spend: FS: I sleep.
This reminds me of when Arrowhead, completely unprompted, nerfed the flamethrower VFX (that were the best game representation out there) and power of fire right before dropping a fire themed warbond.
Something about the swedes’ management I just don’t understand.

i guess they didn’t have anything new for the other classes either, since they just offered cosmetics from over 2 years ago.
i use to have distinctive cosmetics for every build with my old characters, so i know right away what i’m playing, and arby needs something similar.

i still have hope i started playing this in December. All their crazy practices and lack of coming through for the community is new business for me

It’s relatively new to them too.
They did hire a guy with prior experience in mobile games and monetization iirc.
At this stage, there’s only 2 “realistic” ways for the shop to change:
- The MTX laws come into affect and force FS hand to comply
- The community finds a way to make a concerted effort to stop giving them money though their shop AND it affects their financials enough to give into the pressure.
Number 2 isn’t happening and it may not even matter if it happend. Good news though, number 1 is eventually happening.
Or 3. FS determine they could be making more (and keep those earnings steady) with a less-irritating shop set up.
They don’t even want money!
If that were a realistic possibility, it would’ve happend a long time ago.
A single glance at their peers and they would’ve known better.

I dunno! They’ve got an actual back catalog of released/finished cosmetics now ready to go. I still think changes could happen that work for FS and players don’t absolutely hate.
From my perspective, it’s more so about the principle of Arbitrator getting nothing while all the other classes at least got a slop rerun. It makes you wonder if Arbitrator has any other sets at all

I’m sure they have some in the works, but the only other items I’m aware of in the files right now are a recolors chest and legs.
