I don’t see this as an issue or bug. The description states “…for every 20% overcharge you vent…” Venting is not only the act of pressing your “reload” key to vent, it’s the passive decay of your overcharge as well. I’d call both of those “venting”.

Pretty sure that’s working as intended, and your suggestion will be a pretty big nerf to the talent. At the most I can accept the lost souls not targeting un-aggroed enemies.

If the souls would hover next to you until you aggroed enemies, that would fix the issue.
