Mouse disappears when hitting "ESC"

Issue Description (Required):

The mouse will sometimes disappear when using menus in game ie. the ESC or TAB menus. The game still thinks you don’t have the menu up and so you’ll be controlling your character instead making it impossible to do anything other than alt + f4 the game.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. Play
  2. Play some more
  3. encounter?
