The ogryn shield has a broken glass viewing panel. The outward facing aspect of the glass has a really cool bullet hole and cracked glass effect. However, the inner facing aspect (what we see during gameplay) is just a hole with no broken glass.

I would expect to see the broken glass and bullet hole when in first person during combat.

This isn’t a bug. This is so you are able to actually see while blocking.

This skin originally had a texture on the inside but it was so horrible that they had to remove it in a patch. You couldn’t see any fire through it and the reflections made it impossible to see when there was a light source behind you.
