Crazy thing happened to me, it got fixed by itself for me by reading this thread: I had this bug since yesterday, I logged in just now to see if the bug persisted and it did. I alt-tabbed to chrome and found this thread, when I was done reading and alt-tabbed to Darktide, my preacher had different armor. Also all other presets work now. That means the game did switch the preset in the end, I just had to wait for a while (I think).

Nwm, I broke it again. Preset 1 works, preset 3 works, If I switch to preset 2, than it is stuck and difficult to unstuck, other presets donā€™t load.

Iā€™ve discovered a workaround! You need to make sure that your CURIOS ARE IN THE SAME ORDER FOR EACH LOADOUT,
At the very least, I can get it to work on the Mourningstar. Gonna try it in-game, now.

I dont know if this will help but sometimes it even mixes 2 loadouts together, like on my psyker it will use the weapons of loadout 1 and the feats of the loadout I switched to which was #5

Similar experience. I got my Preacherā€™s loadouts working by re-doing them in the Meat Grinder (a tip from reddit) but the Ogryn loadouts are still messed up, even with using the same curios.

I originally thought it was because I had re-entered the Inventory screen before I finished loading the cosmetics after swapping the first time. You know that period where you kind of disappear and then load back in in chunks? So I was being careful not to do that on other characters.

But after reading here it occurred to me that I had switched out curios for a grim run so I went and looked and sure enough when I put my main curios back on I had swapped the order of two of them compared to all my other loadouts. Unfortunately though, fixing it in that loadout did not fix the problem and I still canā€™t switch items or cosmetics with the loadout selector without laboriously going through and doing it all by hand. Oddly, feats seem unaffected so far and will change appropriately.

Iā€™m not sure how but the issue resolved itself for me. It was worst on my Psyker (locked into one loadout) but last login I was able to change loadouts as before.
