It was just crazy to release a huge new mode like this just before they leave the office lol. It’s like chucking your work deadline through the letterbox as you leave the office 
Surely they should have released it a few weeks prior, to give themselves some wiggle room for such bugs and issues as this…or release it after they return.

As a dev, I understand that things break. It happens.
But f*cking off right before a holiday, because “It’s our break time” is some crazy-ass bullsh*t.
Is this a cultural difference? Leaving the product in a broken state during heightened period of user activity (holiday break = more gaming) would get you canned from almost any company in the States.

You must have missed out on the poxhounding of 2022, was it?
The modifier list bugged out or something and the only modifier that was available was poxhounds for like 2 ish months while they were on break.

It wasn’t a bug, it was a feature. Fatshark had just reworked the pox hound modifier, put it out for everyone to play and then went on holidays, neglecting the fact that pox hounds was the only modifier the entire time. This was back during the time where mission modifiers were periodically chosen by FS instead of missions being automatically and randomly designated modifiers.
My bad, the pox hound rework came after.

It’s broken right now. FS are back on 2nd of January so hopefully they’ll be on this right away then.
I’ve heard there’s also an issue with Maelstrom missions getting no rewards or otherwise acting up as it connects to Havoc entry.
Auric Heresy works fine, so does the normal missions. I guess for the hardcore players waiting for Havoc either a vacation down in Heresy or do the hardest modifiers for Auric without Maelstrom. Or log back in on the 2nd.

Yeah, I noticed. Completed the mission, got booted from the server without rewards.
I mean, they released the game and left for their holidays, so considering that bar, this is relatively minor.

stuff like this really rubs me the wrong way,
why not post something like that in the actual forum of all places ?
never have and never will set one foot in the cesspool that is "social"media, neither should i have to in order to get vital informations about a games status…
i mean c´mon, you got time to log in during holiday on twitter or what was it, you got time to log in to your forum of all things

Never in my entire gaming career, have been told to wait a week to play a game thats already out. Havok is the only reason most end-game players come back to the game including myself. Take that away and they are playing russian roulette with their playercount.

Yup!
We have deployed a fix concerning Havoc missions. Players are now able to play Havoc mode and receive their rewards. This week only, some players might not receive a notification pop-up regarding their rewards, that said rewards will still be granted.

now folks, in a totally unrelated turn of events i had a new years eve flashback, thinking about the botched havoc situation right now.
pretty much 24 years ago, buddy pirx and i had the “worst” new years eve when we called it quits playing daikatana in the basement of my parents’ house
actually remember the uglyass prison map where we threw the towel, both nauseated from the weird color palette and running in circles looking for the exit.
combined with mecha-sharks in outdoor ponds it was a wild experience of the bad kind.
BUT something i remember even after a quarter of a century if you think about it.
we had great new years eves (is there a plural?) i remember somewhat, namely playing quake 3 arena online with an abysmal latency against a dude named “wichsfrosch2000” (jerk-off-frog if you translate it) playing as “orb” 
why i mention this?
fatshark pulled off a christmas miracle getting a spot in the olympus of botched holiday-game-sessions not even letting me play darktide/havoc at all.
at least i dont need to 
at 3a.m after green and grey colors disagree with the 2 cans of energy drink
whatever you do instead a couple hours from now, or DID in case you’re on the “asian side” , happy new year
