I think you can still get smacked from the position of the last video.

Only the nearest few enemies can attack the truck, ranged enemies cannot be locked into the truck, and mutants can be locked into the truck. So just get inside the truck and parry, and the enemy will surround the truck in a daze

Once a player has entered the truck point, the other players will simply follow the instructions above to return to the elevator, which will make it very easy to send a signal
