i think derank would be fine if you only had to climb once honestly, its decently fun the first time
but then havoc has weekly rank decay and most importantly seasonal resets which make it miserable, specially when you’ve already gotten to 40 quite a few times
weekly rank decay specially is defo some weird retention mechanic lmao
imo the best rank system would just be being able to choose any rank anytime up to the highest you’ve beaten, but idk if we’d ever get that….
