Grenade Gauntlet has several problems. It’s projectile is shot much slower than the animation, leading to situations where clear targets in crosshair are missed or body blocked by sudden enemies due to assumptions that they would be hit. It’s very easy to miss something within crosshairs if you’re trying to rapidly switch between targets without holding steady on them for a brief amount of time.
This slower animation also leads to things such as firing the projectile, tanking a hit, and the hitstun canceling the projectile altogether (if done rapidly it could almost look like a machine gun, a beautiful sight but also help me plz I am dying and want to shoot).
If you perform either heavy melee attacks with the gauntlet and attempt to switch weapons it will not correctly cancel, instead has a strong delay before pulling out blitz or melee weapons.
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
(aim issues)
- grenade gauntlet
- play mission
- fire and quickly sway mid mission or fire at a target near horde
- easily miss as the aim is misaligned mid shot, or get body blocked for a clear shot when a horde walks past projectile.
(hitstun issues)
1.grenade gauntlet
2. play mission, find enemies (ragers are most noticeable)
3. attempt to fire while being hit
4. hitstun
5. attempt again
6. result is shot not coming out the first time and an apparent rapid fire on the second
(melee issues)
1.grenade gauntlet
2. psykanium or mission
3. ready heavy attack
4. attempt to switch weapons, it will take comparatively longer compared to most melees.
